Anthony David Gonzalez played American football for 17 seasons as a tight-end within the National Football League. As one of football's greatest tight ends, Anthony David Gonzalez is also the NFL leader of receiving yards for tight ends, and is third overall in receiving.
The former Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons All-Pro tight end Tony Gonzalez currently serves as a FOX Sports Studio analyst. Gonzalez is a regular show on FOX NFL KICKOFF in the start of the NFL's season in 2017. The show, which lasts for an hour, is a precursor to FOX NFL Sunday on Sundays starting at 11 am ET, during the NFL Season.
Gonzalez's claim to be retiring from the NFL after 2013 is not the case. The 15th of March, 2013 Gonzalez was signed by the Falcons a 2-year contract for $14,000,000. Randy Moss retiring, Gonzalez's 37th season was his last as NFL leading receiver in yards.
